We work with Italian artisans in a pure vegetable tannery in the hills of Tuscany. They’ve perfected the process of vegetable tanning.
There are two ways leathers are tanned: chrome and vegetable tanning. In chrome tanning, which is less expensive and faster than vegetable tanning, chromium and other chemicals are used to expedite the tanning process. Our leathers are vegetable tanned, a method of tanning that’s been around for centuries. It gets its name, “vegetable,” because of the natural materials used in the tanning process, like tree bark. Each hide is tanned in a vegetable dye for about twenty-eight days. The result: gorgeous leather that will become darker, softer, and even more unique with time. Spot clean with a damp cloth.

Returns must be unused, in the state that you received them, and with the original tags attached. Once your return is received, inspected, and approved, your refund will be processed, and you will be reimbursed minus the cost of return shipping. All sale items will be final sale.
